Packing a Shoebox

Packing a Shoebox for Operation Christmas Child

This year is the first year my church has gotten involved with Operation Christmas Child. I was so excited to pack my shoebox up with goodies that I decided to document the process to help others who might be wondering what and how to pack!

I was given this shoebox at my church, but you can use any shoebox you have. If you want to wrap it with wrapping paper, just be sure to wrap the top and bottom of the box separately so it can be easily opened.

I headed to the dollar tree to buy a mix of goodies to fill the box with a boy in mind and the age range of 5-9.

I wanted to get a good mix of useful toiletries and fun items. I had heard that matchbox cars were a hit so I definitely wanted to include one in my box.

I then went to a nice toy store and found the nice stuffed lion for my wow gift!

What have you packed in your shoebox this year?
